Warranty Policy

Hanna Instruments products are proudly manufactured at our ISO 9001 facilities, meeting the highest quality standards in the industry. Hanna also provides a limited product warranty should a failure occur due to defects in material or workmanship. Warranted products may be returned for repair or replacement only, at the discretion of Hanna Equipments (India) Pvt Ltd. The warranty becomes void if the product has been abused, misused, or repairs attempted by unauthorized persons.

The warranty period commences from the original date of sale to the end-user or a maximum of 12 months from date of dealers' purchase. Warranty is valid only when the product is used under normal conditions and in accordance with the operating limitations and prescribed maintenance procedures.

Warranty service, replacement, recalibration and repairs are provided at Hanna Equipments Navi Mumbai Technical Service Center. All returns MUST have a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number that is obtained by contacting the Hanna Technical Service Department. The RGA number should be clearly marked on the outside of the box and the unit shipped prepaid and insured.All products returned for warranty repair or replacement MUST be preceded by or accompanied with proof of purchase, such as the original invoice or packing slip.

Under special circumstances it may be deemed necessary by Hanna Equipments to issue a Replacement In Advance (RIA). In such cases, the Dealer or End-user MUST return the defective materials to Hanna within 30 days. Materials not received within 30 days become chargeable to the Dealer or End-user. Returned materials must be packed properly to avoid damage during transport which would render the warranty null and void. The sender is responsible for expediting any shipping damage claims placed against the carrier.

A flat minimum service charge of 800 Rs. (per hour) applies to non-warranty repairs or recalibration. This also applies to units returned for warranty repair and found to be in good working order and requiring only a battery change or calibration. Any materials returned for repair which are considered non-warranty may be serviced at the previously stated hourly cost (excluding parts) following subsequent notification and approval of such.

Hanna Instruments or Hanna Equipments cannot be held liable for any damages or compensations resulting from defective products or materials. No other warranty provisions are expressed or inferred.
